Old 4/4 violin, amber varnish

Full-size (4/4) violin of traditional construction, maker not identified. Fine-grained spruce top, two-piece flamed maple back, ebony pegs, fingerboard and tailpiece, golden amber varnish. No chinrest, which keeps it neutral for any period: on camera it reads as a family, orchestra or music-room violin from the first half of the twentieth century. Suitable for recording, for a musician on set and for set dressing.
