View-Master Model G with reels

View-Master stereoscopic viewer, the toy that put three-dimensional photographs in the hands of several generations: drop in a reel, point it at the light and the side lever steps through the seven images. This is the Model G, the rounded plastic design made by Sawyer's Europe in Belgium in the 1960s and 70s, with the mark moulded into the body. Comes with period picture reels. It works, with no batteries or lamp, just window light. Furnishes a child's bedroom or a living room from 1965 to 1985, a hand in close-up flicking through the pictures, and it is an object everyone recognises at once.
