Timex Computer 2048 with cassette recorder and games

The home computer of a generation in Portugal. The Timex Computer 2048 was built by Timex at its Portuguese factory in 1984 as an improved version of the ZX Spectrum: compatible with Spectrum games and programs, 48 K of memory, a hard-key keyboard instead of rubber, a built-in joystick interface and better video output. The keys carry the BASIC keywords printed on them, as the period demands. Powers up and works. Comes with the cassette recorder for loading programs, with the characteristic loading noise, and with period game tapes. It furnishes a Portuguese bedroom, living room or shop from 1984 to 1990, with the screen working; it connects to a CRT television or a period monitor, which we have in the catalogue.
