Kodak Six-20 Brownie C box camera
The Kodak box camera that was in everyone's home between the war and the 1950s, made by Kodak in England for 620 roll film, eight 6×9 pictures per roll. Black front with the two round finders for upright and landscape framing, lens in the centre, spirit level on top, side shutter lever, film-advance knob and leather strap. No settings: point and shoot. Fully mechanical, no batteries, the shutter fires. Suited to a tourist, a family outing or an amateur photographer of the 1940s and 50s, and to dressing a shelf, a shop window or a living room. 620 film is no longer made, but 120 fits with the right spool.
